Will Our Constitution Soon be Extinct?
Some are saying our rights as an American is in endanger. Did anyone really believe that just because Barack Obama put his hand on the same bible that President Abraham Lincoln used, would make him keep that oath of office?
So what if our Constitution is in danger of being no longer valid? We
deserve it, because we as a nation thought so little about our
Constitution. What do I mean you may ask? By electing someone who was
not qualified to uphold, and had no intention to uphold our
Constitution. We deserve exactly what we got.
Some are saying
that they did not know. So, you did not know, and you voted for him
anyway? If it is the case, that you did not know him, and you voted for
him anyway. Is it not a reflection of your lack of love, lack of
respect, and the value, you place on this country and our Constitution?
It has been said, that when the blind, lead the blind, both
will end up in the ditch. Furthermore, to place anyone in a leadership
position over the greatest nation on earth, without sufficient
knowledge of him, is foolish to say the least.
Therefore, we
must reap what we have sown. Faith in anyone, without the evidence of
any proof of his experience, is equivalent to that of a body without a brain.
I am sorry for the harshness of this article, but until
we learn from the failures of past nations, that are no longer in
existence, we are subject to repeat them. Furthermore, people of past
generations perished, for the very thing that was missing when Barack Obama was elected as President, and that one thing is knowledge.
Unless
the American people return this country to what made it great, and
bless by the God of heaven, it will end up as one the third world
countries.
We must put God back in: 1) government, 2) home, and 3) our schools.
If you agree that there is no reason to repeat the past, then stop it or else our Constitution will be a thing of the past.

I do believe the Constitution is endangered. But I believe both parties are equally guilty. Our self-serving representatives in Washington DC all but ignore it. I always wondered why the republicans dissed Alan Keyes when he was so passionate about upholding the Constitution.
Thanks Suziecat7! However, your comment is just further proof as to why the Constitution is fading away. Alan Keyes should have been the first black man to be elected as President. Furthermore, there is no need to wonder because there is corruption on both sides of the aisle; the question is. What are we the people going to do about it?

Excellent and passionate hub. I will say this, the evidence of Obama's lack of experience as well as his allegiance with people and ideologies foreign to our nation was all there before the election. Frankly, I believe that these people who cast their vote in spite of what was known tossed it away and now we are all paying the price of their ignorance. I hope this movement away from our values will be reversed and I am hoping that Brown gets elected to send a powerful message to Washington that we, the people, have a voice.
